12PLUS Cooke Internship Application 2021



    The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is offering one Cooke Scholar a $6,000 internship stipend to work as a virtual intern during summer 2021. 12+ is a college access nonprofit that partners with Philadelphia high schools to make sure that students graduate with a post-secondary plan and are present on campus the following fall.

    The Cooke 12+ Intern will work with program staff over the summer to:
    • Support high school graduates finalize postsecondary education plans and enrollment
    • Develop education programs that will be implemented throughout the academic year
    • Support other summer programs and operations

    This is a great opportunity for Cooke Scholars who are considering a career in education, nonprofits, and college access.

    Please review the requirements listed in the application guidelines for accepting a stipend from the Foundation for the 12+ summer internship. You must complete at least 320 internship hours and have your hours verified by your internship supervisor. You must complete an internship report at the end of this internship. Scholars who leave their internships earlier than expected are required to notify the Foundation immediately.
